Special Education

The VKM Special School provides Remedial teaching, Special education, Training in self-care and daily living, Sports and Games and Cultural activity programmes for children with Cerebral palsy, Intellectual disability and related neuro developmental disabilities in the age group of 3 to 18 years.

Child Development Centre

A Child development centre is attached to the school for the benefit of children with Cerebral palsy and related neuro developmental disabilities.

V.K.M Vocational Training Institute

Students with Cerebral palsy, intellectual disability and related neuro developmental disabilities above the age of 18 years are given training in

  • Computer data entry in collaboration with ‘AMBA FOUNDATION’, Bengaluru

  • Agriculture

Corrective Surgery Program

Implementing the project Mobility Mission-Kerala, with support from Department of Social Justice,  Government of Kerala. This project is for the identification and possible correction of physical deformities in children with Cerebral palsy and related Developmental disabilities by medical , surgical and rehabilitation measures.

Parents Training

Training is given to parents in rehabilitating children with Cerebral palsy, Intellectual disability and related neuro developmental disabilities. Focus is on home-based management.
